DETAILS Current Page: Site Help Last Updated: 17 August 2010 Site Structure To assist in identification, each Scullard (by birth) is assigned a unique Reference Code, shown in [ ] after the individuals name. Names have been entered using modern English spellings. For example, the name Zachary is used as a standard format for the spelling variants Sacary, Zacharius, Zacharia etc., recorded in source material. Dates are recorded as though the Gregorian calendar was in use, i.e. the New Year starts on 1st January. The site consists of a number of sub Trees, which together form the complete tree. The sub Trees are labelled, using the Reference Code of the individual who heads that sub Tree. Each sub Tree is accompanied by a Text page, providing source details and / or supporting evidence, and discusses the rationale behind the information shown in the sub Tree. The information shown in the sub Trees can be a combination of facts, probabilities, possibilities and speculation. To appreciate the degree of confidence that can be placed on the information as shown, it is essential that the information in the sub Trees is viewed in conjunction with their Text pages. Names, as recorded in the source material are generally to be found in the Text pages. Site Entry and Navigation Please enter the site via one of the following two options: |
